How to order

The first thing you want to do is check the Breed Calendar. The Breed Calendar lists exactly which breeds we'll be getting in, what day they are available to order, and what day deliveries will begin. Once you've determined your preferred breed, take note of the next availability date for them. This is the date you'll want to be on the website or calling in to place an order. If you're very particular about the breed you want, you can also join a WAITLIST. Waitlists are not a guarantee you'll get the exact bird you want when you want it, but they do give you "first choice" when that particular breed next becomes available. Ordering online is simple and easy. Simply go to the Order Now page, add the birds you want to your cart, and checkout. At checkout, you will have a choice between delivery and pickup. If you choose pickup, you can choose the specific date and time you'd like to pick your birds up right during the checkout process. If you choose delivery, you'll be contacted via email one week before you birds are ready to go with a delivery schedule. Don't worry - if the date you end up being scheduled for does not work, you can always reschedule as needed.

Ordering over the phone is straightforward. Call (530) 957-7539. If you are calling when birds first become available, you will most likely be forwarded to voicemail. Voicemails are responded to in the order received. Leave a message including your name, number, and a brief list of what you'd like to order - which breeds, and how many of each. If you are not ordering at the very moment orders open, you'll likely catch a live person, and we'll guide you directly through the process.
